How big should a Community get before it multiplies?

The “experts” claim that 15-20 adults are the maximum number that you should let a house church (‘simple’ church) grow to. Although we have seen some that have had 40 or more in attendance, a group this large loses the sense of intimacy, and it becomes more difficult for everyone to participate.
